Alternate Assignment
If you cannot participate in class due to medical reasons OR you have been absent more than four times in a marking period, you must complete an alternate P.E. assignment based on how long you have been out of class.
If out for less than 5 weeks, you must complete the injury/illness assignment and then (2) article summary forms PER WEEK out.
MEDICAL/ALTERNATIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION ASSIGNMENTS
1 class: One (1) Daily Assignment
2 classes: Two (2) Daily Assignments
3 classes: Three (3) Daily Assignments
4-7 classes: Three (3) Daily Assignments & Injury/Illness Assignment
8-11 classes: Three (3) Daily Assignments & Injury/Illness Assignment & one (1) Article Summary Form
12-15 classes: Three (3) Daily Assignments & Injury/Illness Assignment & two (2) Article Summary Forms
16+ classes: **See me ASAP to talk about options**
Select an article from one of the websites below OR any reputable web site about science, health, physical education, or mental health. The article you choose must have factual information supported by resources, not opinions. Make sure to print out the article and hand it in along with your assignments.
