Dear Families, 

Hello, my name is Ms. Stagg and I am so excited to be filling in for Mrs. Acosta while she is on maternity leave. This is my first year at Brookside and I am looking forward to building relationships with your students and the entire Brookside community. Fourth grade is a wonderful year where students often begin to become more independent and recognize their strengths in school!

I believe that ALL students have the ability to learn and that in order to learn, students must feel safe and welcomed in their classroom community.  I consider building my relationships with my students to be a top priority and I provide opportunities for students to collaborate and develop relationships with their peers. Furthermore, I believe that students learn best with both their bodies and minds are active. 

I believe that there needs to be a strong home- school connection  in order for your students to be successful. My goal is to ensure that my communication with you is open and honest.
