About Your Counselor...

I love being a Whitewright Tiger! This is the 13th year of my career. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2014 with a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education. I taught and coached the first 10 years of my career and loved every second of it! Coaching volleyball and basketball were my greatest passions in life, but after becoming a mom, I decided to step away from coaching to spend more time with my growing family! I began my career out in Brownfield, Texas, then moved to Estacado High School in Lubbock, Texas, and spent five years in Frisco, Texas, teaching/coaching at Lebanon Trail High School. Most recently, I spent the past two years as the freshmen English teacher here at WHS! My family and I plan to make Whitewright our forever home and to have our baby girl grow up and graduate from this special community! If you see me out and about, please don't hesitate to say hello!
