8 tips to help you keep up in Google Keep

  1. Record voice notes.

Open up the Keep mobile app, click on the microphone icon at the bottom right of your screen and record your message. When you're done talking, the recording will automatically end and a new screen will pop up with the text of your message and an audio file.
  1. Transcribe notes from pictures.

      1. Open Keep on your mobile device.
      2. Tap the camera icon in the bottom right corner.
      3. Tap Take Photo.
      4. Snap a photo of the image.
      5. Tap the check when you're happy with the photo.
      6. In the resulting window, tap the menu button (three vertical dots).
      7. Tap Grab Image Text
      8. Title the note.

  4. Send notes from Keep to other apps you use.

  • Click on the three dots in the bottom right corner of your Keep app, select “send” and choose the app you want to share your note with
  1. Color-code or label your notes to find them quicker.

  • In order to color code one of your notes, you'll need to follow these steps: Open your note. Tap the overflow button in the bottom right-hand corner. Select a color of your choice.
  1. Set reminders for yourself.

  • Open your note.

  • Tap the 'Finger with twine' icon in the top left-hand corner.

  • Select 'Time' or 'Place'

  • Save.

  • And BOOM!

Download Google Keep on your device

  1. Go to the app Store and Download the Google Keep app
  2. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play app .
  3. Find the Google Keep app.
  4. Tap Install.

  • Create notes, lists, track your progress and share with others!
