My name is Danelle Oenes, I hail from the land of 10,000 lakes! I graduated from Augsburg University in 2020 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and taught preschool for two years. In 2023 I moved out to beautiful Colorado after marrying my husband. In the beginning of 2026 we welcomed our little boy! I was an EA here at Woodrow for two years in Kindergarten and First grade and now I am starting my second year as one of your First grade teachers! In my spare time I like to play guitar, paddle board, play board games and spend time with my family. I am so excited for what this year has to bring!

Hello! My name is Monique Walling, and I have been a proud member of the WWA teaching family since 2010. Born and raised in Westminster, CO, I am a proud product of Jefferson County Schools. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Northern Colorado in 2007. After returning home and substitute teaching for a few years, I found my permanent teaching home right here at Woodrow. Outside of the classroom, I share my life with my wonderful husband, Ryan, and our beautiful family of three. Teaching is the most challenging and rewarding career I could imagine. There is nothing better than watching students grow, learn, and experience those magical "AHA!" moments. My goal is to instill a lifelong love of learning in my students and celebrate many more of those breakthroughs together!
