Effective use of data in allows us to:
Better understand where individuals and groups of similar individuals are with their learning. Plan next steps in learning, based on evidence rather than a hunch. Quickly provide expert support and high-impact teaching andlearning strategies for individual students and groups of students who require support and/or extension. Promote a collective responsibility for student learning.
Our data and intervention platform is designed to allow staff to better understand and plan for their students. We can quickly gauge where students how are traveling on one single platform, in real time. Students who require support can be referred to the Intervention Team, and onto expert support through the system, fostering a collective responsibility for student learning. The digital data wall is used in conjunction with the Data room and intervention tracking tool to allow staff to act on evidence, rather than hunches. The Digital data wall uses a platform called Awesome Table to render the spreadsheet data. View the clip to the left for further information. This project is public if you wish to share.
