Within one to two weeks of the application closing date, applicants selected for interview are contacted
All other applicants unsuccessful for interview will be notified via email (CEDWW does not provide feedback to applicants who are not shortlisted for interview)
Interviews are generally panel interviews and may include a scenario for you to complete once you arrive for the interview
Prior to moving to final stages reference checking will occur
All interviewees will be contacted via phone whether they are successful or unsuccessful
Those interviewees who are not successful are contacted after the preferred candidate has formally accepted the position
If you're successful in your application, the onboarding process will be initiated with our People and Culture Recruitment Team.
Background Checks
Depending on the role, you may need to complete:
National Criminal History Check - a CEDWW funded check through Fit2Work.
Functional Assessment - a CEDWW funded assessment at a RehabCo center in Wagga, Griffith, or Albury.
Onboarding
Once you've cleared all pre-employment checks, we'll send you onboarding forms to complete.
This includes verifying:
NSW Working with Children Check
NSW NESA Accreditation (for teaching roles)
Identification (via RapidID)
Academic Transcripts
Statements of Service (for teaching roles)
Upon completion, you'll be added to our payroll system and issued your formal contract of employment.
