WVUSD Enrollment for '25-'26 is now open!
Enrollment is required for ALL students who are NEW to Walnut Valley Unified School District. Existing students do not need to re-enroll.
Enrollment and Registration is a two step process.
Step 1: Enrollment - Click here to get started. Once Enrollment is complete you will receive a confirmation email.
Step 2: Registration - See below.
Determine your school of residence:
Please verify your home is within the South Pointe Middle School boundaries through this website: Click here
If your home does not fall within the South Pointe boundaries, you must enroll at your residence school.
If you are a DOC, and have been assigned to South Pointe, or have an approved inter-district transfer, please continue the enrollment process.
***Online enrollment does not guarantee a spot at South Pointe until the parent uploads all of the online forms and required documents are reviewed and accepted by the Registrar.***
To begin the process of enrolling your student with South Pointe for the 2025-2026 school year, please have the following completed and submitted. Only a parent or legal guardian can enroll the child. Legal guardians must present proof of legal guardianship.
New student enrollment for the 25-26 year is now open. Once you have completed the on-line enrollment we will receive notification. We will review your documents and contact you by email soon after.
Required Parent Documents
Online Enrollment: Click here Choose: “Pre-enrollment 25-26” Upon completion, please verify all information, print, sign and date.
Residence Verification. Please provide ONE of the following*:
a. Current property tax bill.
b. Current mortgage statement.
c. Close of escrow (if the home was just purchased).
d. Lease agreement
*Please note: If student's family moves into the home of another family: Declaration of Residency document Form B are required. The family with proof of residence must meet the requirements of #2 above. If a family has a child already enrolled in the Walnut Valley Unified School District, a current utility bill is required as proof of continued residence.
Current Utility Bill with parent/guardian address. Please provide ONE of the following:
a. Water
b. Gas
c. Electric
Current Identification. Please provide ONE of the following:
CA driver’s license (with the same address shown on documents above) DMV change of address: Click here

Passport, or other government-issued identification
Required Student Documents
Birth certificate or passport.
Immunization record (Must be stamped by doctor office or have previous school record).
7th& 8th graders, proof of TDAP given on or after 7th birthday, 2 Varicella.

All students must register annually.
This process includes an online data confirmation followed by on-site registration.
Please review the information provided below in order to complete your child’s registration for the 2025-2026 school year. Registration is a two part process, completed annually. We are excited for a great year with your child.
Part I: Data Confirmation on Aeries Portal (now open) All families are required to complete this Data Confirmation annually, as it contains important medical, legal, and personal information. It includes important notices, procedures and protocols for both WVUSD and South Pointe Middle School. Please complete the Data Confirmation process before attending Registration. Step 1: Log into your Aeries Portal account. If you do not yet have an Aeries Portal account for your WVUSD student, select “Create New Account”.
Step 2: Once logged into Aeries Portal, you will see a yellow bar at the top of the page stating "You have not completed the Student Data Confirmation Process; Click here to confirm the information about your student." Click the link to begin the process.
Step 3: Complete each section, then click the “Confirm and Continue” button. Please review and make any needed changes before continuing to the next section. Be sure to click each document in the “Documents” section, read/review it, then click the “I have read the required document” box before clicking the “Confirm and Continue” button.
Step 4: You will be prompted to confirm that the information on the previous tabs is correct. Then click the “Finish and Submit” button.
Step 5: Please print the Data Confirmation Signature Validation page(s), sign and bring it with you to Registration. Data Confirmation is required before schedules can be provided.
Part 2: Registration July 29th - July 31st: During Registration students will receive textbooks, class schedules and temporary ID cards. Incoming 7th-grade students will be cleared by the school nurse/health clerk if all required immunizations are up to date. Parents may purchase items including yearbooks, spirit wear and P.E. clothes using cash, check, credit, or debit cards. Please see the suggested arrival times below.

Panther Camp
We would like to invite ALL incoming 6th grade and NEW students to Panther Camp on July 28th and July 29th from 8:30 to 11:30 am. This camp is designed to help students become better acquainted with our campus, meet some of their teachers, and make new friends. Please click here to register (if you have not already).
The First Day of School
We are all excited to welcome our students and staff back to campus for the 2025-2026 school year. Our first day of school will be on Monday, August 11th starting at 8:04 am and 7:10 am for students enrolled in a zero-period class. Our first day of school is a minimum day with dismissal at 11:06 am. The remainder of the week will be a full day schedule with dismissal at 2:00 pm.
Back to School Night
South Pointe Middle School will be hosting our Back to School Night on August 14th. This is an important evening, where you will have the opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and experience their schedule of classes. Back to School Night provides an opportunity to grow our partnership between our incredibly supportive families and the school, with the common goal of ensuring a successful middle school experience for your student. We look forward to seeing you there!
