New Student Enrollment & Registration

Students New to Our District

Enrollment is required for ALL students who are NEW to Walnut Valley Unified School District. Existing students do not need to re-enroll.

Enrollment and Registration is a two step process.

Step 1: Enrollment - Click here to get started. Once Enrollment is complete you will receive a confirmation email.

Step 2: Registration - See below.

  • Determine your school of residence:

    • Please verify your home is within the South Pointe Middle School boundaries through this website: Click here

    • If your home does not fall within the South Pointe boundaries, you must enroll at your residence school.

    • If you are a DOC, and have been assigned to South Pointe, or have an approved interdistrict transfer, please continue the enrollment process.

***Online enrollment does not guarantee a spot at South Pointe until the parent uploads all of the online forms and required documents are reviewed and accepted by the Registrar.***

To begin the process of enrolling your student with South Pointe for the 2022-2023 school year, please have the following completed and submitted. Only a parent or legal guardian can enroll the child. Legal guardians must present proof of legal guardianship.

New student enrollment for the 22-23 year is now open. Once you have completed the on-line enrollment we will receive notification. We will review your documents and contact you by email soon after.

Required Parent Documents

  1. Online Enrollment: Click here Choose: “Pre-enrollment 22-23” Upon completion, please verify all information, print, sign and date.

  2. Residence Verification. Please provide ONE of the following*:

a. Current property tax bill.

b. Current mortgage statement.

c. Close of escrow (if the home was just purchased).

d. Lease agreement

*Please note: If student's family moves into the home of another family: Declaration of Residency document Form B are required. The family with proof of residence must meet the requirements of #2 above. If a family has a child already enrolled in the Walnut Valley Unified School District, a current utility bill is required as proof of continued residence.

  1. Current Utility Bill with parent/guardian address. Please provide ONE of the following:

a. Water

b. Gas

c. Electric

  1. Current Identification. Please provide ONE of the following:

    1. CA driver’s license (with the same address shown on documents above) DMV change of address: Click here

    2. CA ID card (with same address shown on documents 1-2)

    3. Passport, or other government-issued identification

Required Student Documents

  1. Birth certificate or passport.

  2. Immunization record (Must be stamped by doctor office or have previous school record).

  3. 7th& 8th graders, proof of TDAP given on or after 7th birthday, 2 Varicella.

  1. Current report card/transcripts. If applicable, copy of IEP/504 plan, GATE documentation.

  2. Health History form: Click here Please print and bring along with enrollment documents.

  3. Home Language Survey. Please complete and bring a printed copy to the enrollment appointment. English-Home Language Survey Mandarin Language Survey

IF displaced or homeless, please complete the appropriate Student Housing Form below:
