Students build self-awareness, confidence, wellness habits, media foundations, and a stronger understanding of who they are as learners and communicators
Students build relationships, practice collaboration, engage in mentorship and cross-age tutoring, and use media to tell stories with purpose.
Students lead, serve, create, reflect, and contribute to PCA through senior projects, academy events, the Haunted House capstone, and Senior Tea.

How The PCA Schedule Works
PCA uses a block-style, college-like schedule that allows students to take four academy classes during the time most students take three traditional periods. For example, some classes meet on Monday/Thursday, and others meet on Tuesday/Friday.
This structure helps students build stronger relationships with teachers and peers, receive more support on cross-curricular projects, and experience a smaller learning community within a large high school.
