About Mrs. Yim

Hello, my name is Mrs. Yim and I love teaching fourth grade at Maple Hill Elementary School! This is my 23rd year at Walnut Valley Unified School District. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade in my 30+ years of teaching. My teaching career started with teaching fourth grade at a private school in Whittier and then first grade in Los Angeles Unified School District. I received my Multiple Teaching Credential and Masters in Education in Instructional Leadership at Biola University. I have also received my Administrative Services Credential from Cal Poly Pomona.

I have three young adult children who have all gone through school with WVUSD. We are also a Trojan Family since my oldest daughter, Victoria graduated from USC, and both Josiah and Deborah are currently attending USC. We love going to the USC football games and vacationing together.
