This Pathway allows 9-12 grade students to take an exploratory route through a variety of engineering disciplines in the hopes that they become interested in pursuing this as a career. 

 

In partnership with the nationally renowned program, Project Lead the Way, Diamond Bar students will receive a high rigor, project based curriculum that meets the standards set by educational and industry leaders.  The Pathway ensures that students will qualify and be prepared for the demands of a post-secondary education in engineering.

2022 Two DBHS teams make the JPL Invention Challenge Finals


2021-2022 - DBHS team selected for the NASA Techrise Student Challenge, so they will get to launch their experiment into space on a Blue Origin rocket in 2023

 

2020-2021 - SourceAmerica Design Challenge National Finalist 

 

2019-2020 - Two DBHS teams make the SourceAmerica Design Challenge Finals, with one team ultimately taking First Place

 

2019 - Three DBHS teams make the JPL Invention Challenge Finals with one team ultimately taking First Place 

 

2018-2019 - DBHS team becomes SourceAmerica Design Challenge National Finalist 

 

2018-2019 - DBHS team becomes PLTW Chevron Design Challenge Regional Champions
