Course Outline

MODULE 1 - Quarter 3, Most Essential Learning Competency 1 - Illustrating the limit of a function using a table of values and the graph of functions (STEM _BC11LC-IIIa-1)

Includes rewriting mathematical expressions and equations to verbal statements and vice versa, determining the limits of a function as it approaches from left and right, and evaluating the limits of different functions using its graph and table of values.

MODULE 2 - Quarter 3, Most Essential Learning Competency 5 - Computing the limits of exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions using tables of values and graphs of the functions (STEM _BC11LC-IIIb-1)

Includes discussion about exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, and finding the limits of each using table of values and their graph.

MODULE 3 - Quarter 4, Most Essential Learning Competency 1 - Illustrating the tangent line to the graph of a function at a given point (STEM_BC11D-IIIe-1)

Includes definition and illustration of a tangent line.

MODULE 4 - Quarter 4, Most Essential Learning Competency 9 - Computing the definite integral of a function using the substitution rule (STEM_BC11I-IVi-2)

Includes discussion about definite integral and how to compute it using the substitution rule. Examples are given for practice.

MODULE 5 - Quarter 4, Most Essential Learning Competency 11 - Solving problems involving areas of plane regions (STEM_BC11I-IVj-2)

Includes examples on how to compute the area bounded in a plane region and area bounded by two curves.
