Students who score in the bottom 20% on the iReady reading/math tests at the MS initially qualify for Title reading/math intervention. Additional assessments are given and data is analyzed to determine final placement.
4th graders (from WV elementary schools) who qualify for intervention services in the spring are rolled up and receive services Term 1.
We currently have 12 Title intervention classes.
Students must have 2-3 consecutive scores at grade-level before they can exit.
Intervention students are progress monitored the 4th week of every term and results are sent home with students by the last day of the term.
