Hello and welcome to APES!! Below, you will find a brief outline and description of the summer work that is required at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year:
1. Write and send a "Letter of Introduction" to me
We are going to be spending a lot of time together throughout the next year, so it's best if we get a head start with me learning a little about you before the school year begins. In college, one of the primary ways of getting in contact with your instructor is through email. So, let's get practicing! Please use the template below as guidance: Letter of Introduction Handout
This assignment will be due on 07/15/2017 so that we can get in contact before school starts on the 16th of August.
2. Complete Two Primary Summer "Projects"
3. Complete the APES Math Review Packet
This class is not a math course, and that's not why you signed up. However, you do need to be able to comfortably solve some math problems without the assistance of a calculator for this AP exam. You need to download the packet, and answer all of the questions on the answer form. Show all of your work!! This assignment will be due on or before the first Friday of the school year, 08/18/2017.
