GRADING POLICY

This year I will be using a 4-Point Grading Scale. The power of ZERO on a traditional grading scale is strong and not really conducive to the outcome we are wanting to see in school. Grading in this class will be based on mastery of learning.

*Each semester counts as its own grading period meaning grades reset.

LATE WORK POLICY - late work is not my friend and should not be a habit that we fall in to. That said, I will accept "late work" up until the end of the grading period for partial/full credit (dependent upon assignment). Late work IS graded harder as students should have had more time to make things right.

NEW WORK POLICY

The only things you should really see being done at home is Incomplete Classwork. Anything not finished in our 55 minute time together.

Material Review - Before a quiz/test students should review/study their unit material. They should go through their notebook and highlight key terms and information such as dates, names & locations.

Unit STEM Projects will be completed IN CLASS.
