Distinguished Scholars with Honors*

Criteria

Distinguished Scholar seal is awarded to students who have fulfilled the following:

1. Completed graduation requirements

2. Received no more than 4 semester grades of “C” in the prescribed courses

3. Followed this prescribed course of study:

  • English – Minimum of 2 years of Honors

  • Mathematics – 3 years of College Prep Math

  • Foreign Languages – 2 years of same lang.

  • Economics – College Prep or Honors

  • Laboratory Science – At least 2 years of College Prep Science

  • Social Studies – 3 semesters of Honors

  • Advanced Work – 2 additional years in either Math, Foreign Language or Science

A Distinguished Scholar with Honors, has fulfilled the requirements as a Distinguished Scholar and completed five additional semester courses designated as Honors or Advanced Placement.
