The Assistance League® of Whittier Scholarship Program for high school seniors attending Pioneer High School is now accepting applications.

Current Unofficial Transcript;
1-page (250 word) essay typewritten titled ‘Who am I’ provide information about your academic and career goals. Include any additional information you would like to share;
The Staff Letter of Recommendation form (page 3 to be emailed by Friday, April 10, 2026
Verification of acceptance to attend a four (4) year college or university, as soon as you receive it. The $ 1,000 check will be mailed to the Financial Aid office at the college you attend.

This Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Pioneer High School Alumni Association (PHSAA) through fundraising activities by the members of the PHSAA, and will be administered by the Board of Directors of this organization.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be a student who is attending Pioneer High School, pursuing full time studies leading to a degree at an accredited college, university or trade school in the United States.
• Applicants must be classified as a freshman in the Fall 2026.
• Applicant must have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Candidates will be judged on the application information provided and their typed essay of 500 words or more.
• Candidates will be scheduled to meet with the PHSAA Scholarship Committee for a brief interview once the application process has been accepted and completed.

We are excited to announce the 2026 HOT Scholarship Program. HOT awards $1,000 scholarships
to graduating seniors pursuing higher education at an accredited college or university, supporting
students in the Greater Whittier Area as they take the next step toward their academic and career
goals.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a graduating senior from a high school within the HOT service area (California, Frontier, La Serna, Pioneer, Santa Fe, Sierra Vista, Whittier, El Rancho, Ellen Ochoa Prep, Ruben Salazar, La Habra, or Whittier Christian High School).
You must plan to attend an accredited college or university.
You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need.
