Hi Titans! My name is Graciela Rangel, most students know me as Ms. Grace. I am very excited to work with you all! I am a first-generation college graduate from California State University, Los Angeles, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I am a current graduate student at Cal State Long Beach, where I hope to become a counselor & support students in their professional & academic goals. I have worked at Pioneer High for about 2 years helping students learn about colleges & universities.
Besides working at Rio Hondo College, I support my family & friends with their college goals, so my own family members are my students too. Outside of work, I love to go dancing with my friends, going to Disneyland with my sister, sharing stories, traveling, & going to concerts. Some fun facts about me are that I'm an April aries, my favorite snack is french fries, and I would rather be in summer than winter.

As an ECA student, regular counseling sessions are encouraged to support your academic progress. It is mandatory to schedule a minimum of three counseling appointments per semester, focusing on key aspects of your academic journey:

Semester SMART goals establishment
