About Mrs. Guzman

I am blessed to be back at Santa Fe High School, my alma mater. I graduated from SFHS in 2002. Four years later, I graduated from California State University of Fullerton in 2006. I became part of Whittier Union High School District in 2006 as a substitute and joined the SFHS family as a Math Teacher in 2007. I continued my education at Whittier College, where I completed my teaching credential earned a Masters Degree in Education, 2009. Since I love school and wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how schools operate, I went back to school to earn an administrative credential from Cal Poly Pomona in 2014.

I am very involved at SFHS, this year I am teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, and Junior AVID. In the past I have also taught Introduction to Algebra and Freshman/ Sophomore/ Senior AVID. I am really proud to be part of an AVID Demonstration school. To learn more about our AVID program visit bit.ly/sfhsavid
