Student is included in the general education setting most of their school day. Students can successfully access the curriculum using accommodation and support services which may include the following:
Consultative Support
In-Class Support
Academic Enrichment (Study Skills)
Modified Academic Class
All services are determined through the IEP Process.
Special Day Class Programs
Mild/Moderate
Student is supported in the modified setting, “Special Day Classes” most of their school day.
Most academic classes are within a small group setting
Low pupil/adult ratio
Student may require from modified curriculum, direct instruction to access standards with modified pacing, classwork, presentation, and/or textbook
Moderate/Severe
Specialized Academic Instruction within a small group setting
Low pupil/adult ratio
Student may require alternate curriculum, increased staff to student ratio and specialized instruction.

Working with students to develop postsecondary goals
Provide in class presentations on work readiness skills
Help students connect with employment opportunities in the community
