Yes, Of course. We have 15 CTE Pathways and over 100 community partners that participate.
We highly encourage students to research new organizations and work places to choose exactly the type of place they'd like to learn at. Our work site partnerships are always growing.
2. Do hours count toward my Senior community hours (Senior Project) ?
Yes. They can be one and the same.
3. How many hours must I do in the work site?
You can do as little as a one-day job shadow. Our goal is to fulfill internships and give students invaluable real-life work experiences.
4. Can I do more than one internship?
Student will have to two options of choosing different internships sites. Many site sites can only do a job shadow which we are equally grateful for.
4. Do I need a work permit?
Students do not need a work permit unless they are being paid, as long as they are in the career internship class.

We are an 'open enrollment' course so we students all year long. We just need to find a time to meet and figure out what internship you might be interested in.
7. How do I get to my internship worksite?
You must provide your own transportation.
8. What internships are available? Where are they?
Active community partners are listed here including a map of locations. We continue to add new businesses to our list of community partners.
9. What if the type of worksite/ internship I want is NOT on the list ?
You can help us discover new worksites where you want to intern. If you find a business you'd like to intern at we can approach them for you and other students that are also interested in learning about the same industry. Simply work with your instructor to approach new worksites to see if they'll join hundreds of other partners in offering experience to students.
10. Who covers Workers Comp?
Tri-Cities covers Workers Comp as long as the student is in an unpaid internship
