The Arts Night - Approaching the 50th Anniversary of the School. This year, for the first time, the school offered a Cantonese Opera class and Cantonese Opera performance. In just 10 short lessons, the students were able to master Cantonese opera techniques and showcase their learning outcomes.

To align with the “Enhanced My Pledge to Act Funding Programme” of Quality Education Fund, our school’s Moral, Civic and National Education Section will collaborate with the Music Department in arranging for F.2 students to participate in the “Student Workshop – Experience Cantonese Opera 2023-2024 (Secondary School Version)”.
Specially devised for primary and secondary school students, the scheme extends arts learning beyond the classroom and allows students to experience Xiqu and traditional Chinese culture in a stimulating, inter-disciplinary way and get a taste of well-designed opera performances.
Through the host’s in-depth explanations in simple terms and a series of demonstrations together with newly compiled short plays and interactive sessions, students will better understand the Chinese cultural values conveyed
in opera stories, which helps cultivate positive education.
