Temporary Slides

Students are very excited to make their own temporary slides. A thin section is cut from the plant specimen by using a razor blade. Afterwards, students can view their slides through the microscope.

Making Recycled Paper

Students collect old newspapers as raw material. They are encouraged to cut some coloured patterns from the old board decoration and to put them on their recycled papers. Through such an activity, students learn the concept of recycling.
