The Training Staff

Enrollment will be open for any teacher or administrator in the Woodbridge Township School District who wishes to complete Google Level 1 Certification. (maximum of 60 registered participants)

Registration will close on Friday October 1st or when the maximum number of participants has been reached.

On Monday, September 30th, all registered participants will receive an assessment to test their skills. Based on the results and feedback about their learning pace, participants will be placed in 1 of 2 groups:

• Beginner: Class will move at a slower pace with additional time for practice, reflection, and mastery.
• Advanced beginner: Will move at a faster pace and also preview some activities that are on the level 2 exam as well as those that can improve pedagogy and efficiency.

Please carefully read the form and review the dates for classes.

Extra Help - Open Office Hours

On Tuesdays we will be having online Google Meet Sessions to review materials in the training center. These sessions are not required but they are available to you if you need extra help. We will be going through lessons specifically in the teacher training center. Extra help will be from 4:00-6:00 PM.

You can find the link to the Google Meet in the calendar attached below for each date. Please text Joe Vitale, Kyle Reed, Jaimie Grose, or Sam Tulloch with the phone numbers you have been provided and we will be there to help you!

All classes will begin at 4:00 PM and end approximately 5:30 PM. Please check your schedule before registering. If you start the class and then remove yourself, you will be taking a spot from someone else. We understand that things come up but please check your schedules before committing to be a part of this professional development experience!

Additionally, you should come to this class having used a good majority of tools in the Google Suite of apps. We will be covering some basics but the activities are challenging if you do not have a good foundation of basic knowledge.
