What is Key Club? Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.
Why join? Earn community service hours while having fun and making a difference in the world. Example projects include: Melanoma Walk, Valentines for Veterans, Have a Heart Food Drive, and baking for the homeless.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION for the 2024-2025 school year!!
There will be an interest meeting for Key Club after school in the cafeteria on Thursday October 3rd! If you can attend, great! If not, be sure to reach out to me after 10/3 via email if you are interested in joining Key Club this year. There will be an application process similar to last year. You will need the classroom code for the membership application and instructions. You will have one week to complete the application.
CHANGE FOR THIS YEAR: In an effort to strengthen the unity of the JFKMHS Key Club and provide more community service opportunities and experiences for members, I am limiting the amount of members in Key Club to 75. When selecting members, the following criteria will be taken into consideration: past participation in Key Club, quality of the application, leadership positions, attendance/tardiness, and disciplinary record. I am looking for responsible students who are not only passionate & dedicated to serving the community but who can commit to being an ACTIVE member of Key Club!
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP IN KEY CLUB INVOLVES:
- Attending monthly meetings/fundraisers (minimum of 5 per year)
- Paying the annual dues of $18 by the due date (includes international/district fees )
- Participating in ALL service projects with EFFORT
- Treating the faculty, staff, student body, and community at-large with respect
If you are selected as a member, you will be invited to join the 24-25 Key Club Google Classroom. Please email me with any questions at jennifer.timinski@woodbridge.k12.nj.us.
