Comprehensive Equity Plan

New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C. 6A:7), titled "Managing for Equity in Education," mandates that every New Jersey school district, charter school, and renaissance school project create a three-year Comprehensive Equity Plan (CEP). This CEP is a strategic document that identifies and corrects discriminatory and inequitable policies, programs, practices, and conditions within the school system. The plan requires schools to conduct a data-driven needs assessment to identify disparities and then develop strategies for improvement.
