Amanda Acheson, our Student Assistance Counselor, is in her 15th year of working in the Woodbridge Township School District. Ms. Acheson has her Master's Degree in School Counseling, a state certification in Student Assistance Counseling (SAC), and is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Ms. Acheson's background includes working as a School Counselor for 15 years, an in-home therapist, a Youth Counselor for at risk youth, private practice therapist, advocate for sexual assault survivors, and she also worked as a Coordinator of Services for the State of New Jersey Early Intervention System.
Ms. Acheson believes in counseling, the power of choice, and that each person has within them the ability to make decisions and changes to overcome even the greatest of obstacles.
