Classroom Policies

• Respect the teacher and fellow classmates at all times. No exceptions.

• Report to class on time each day, and be prepared to start class.

• Absolutely no cell phones are permitted in class.

• Raise your hand if you have a question or comment.

• Remain seated at all times unless given permission.

• Come to class with a positive math attitude! Be prepared to participate!

Materials

• 3- Ring Binder or notebook. Even though we use the chrome book, you will need paper!

• Folder- Please have a folder or a section in your binder for handouts. Not all handouts will be hole punched!

• Pencil and Erasers- You will not be allowed to use anything other than a pencil on test, quizzes, or anything handed in to me. Come prepared!

• chrome book- Comes to class EVERYDAY and must be CHARGED!

Homework Policy

Homework will be assigned almost everyday, however it is usually work that is not completed in class. Homework is designed for students to practice and review the concepts taught in class. It is also a way for students to discover problem areas within those concepts. Students should expect to have homework. Homework is checked everyday for a grade.

Grading Policy

Grades will be based on the system below. All major assessments include tests, quizzes, and projects. All minor assessments include, being prepared, classwork, homework, etc.
