About Theatre Arts Oratory
Grades 9-12
Course Description: This dynamic course is designed to develop students' communication skills, confidence, and leadership abilities. Through engaging activities in speech delivery, students learn to express themselves confidently and creatively. The class emphasizes voice modulation, body language, and stage presence, fostering self-confidence and critical thinking. Throughout the course, students will learn how to effectively organize and deliver speeches, understand audience engagement, and utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. The class emphasizes practical experience through individual and group presentations, constructive feedback, and opportunities to improve public speaking skills in a supportive environment. By the end of the course, students will be better equipped to articulate their ideas clearly and confidently in both academic settings and everyday life by honing their oratory and performance abilities.
