Attendance
In Person
Arrive to class on time and sit directly in your assigned seat, do not roam the room or hallways.
If you are late to class without a pass or without teacher/administrator approval, you may lose partial credit for the day. You can make up that credit by completing an opportunity assignment to earn credit for the day. If you are habitually late you will be written up.
If you skip or cut class, you will be written up and also must complete an opportunity assignment to earn half credit for the day.
Opportunity assignments may be handed out by the teacher to provide students an opportunity to make up credit
Arrival to Class
In Person

Please, do not talk over me while I am speaking, I will answer ALL questions you have

A “Do Now” will be posted on Google Classroom to work on when class begins
Log on to your Chromebook and Google Classroom when you arrive and begin “Do Now”.
If you get finished with the Do Now complete any outstanding work for the class and sit quietly on your Chromebook waiting for others to finish, be respectful of your classmates. Everyone works at different speeds.
Assignments
You will have until the end of the day the assignment is due to submit assignments before losing full credit.
No late work will be accepted!
If an assignment is handed in late your grade will reflect the tardiness with a 50.
TURNING IN SOMETHING FOR A 50 IS BETTER THAN NOTHING FOR A 0!
If you have an EXCUSED absence, you have two school days from when you return to get your work turned in.
If you have an UNEXCUSED absence, you have one school day from when you return to get your work turned in.
If a major assignment is missing for more than 2 weeks, a parent/guardian will be notified
(This includes Tests/Projects unless extenuating circumstances dictate a need)
If there is an extenuating circumstance, you must notify the teacher and guidance immediately.
It is your responsibility to find out missed assignments and turn it in within the allotted time. Everything will always be on Google Classroom. No Excuses.
Students usually do very well in these courses, again as long as their work is handed in and they do not fall far behind with many missing assignments. If students need extra time for particular reasons, accommodations can be made. At any time, I can be reached through my email and please feel free to reach out regarding anything with your student.
