District Policy: Students are given 2 days for every 1 day of absence to make up all missed work.

Missed Work: It is your responsibility to make up all assignments that you miss due to any absence (school related or other). This includes Do Nows, class notes, class work, etc. Make sure you check the “While You Were Out” folder the day you return to get all of your missing assignments. *If there is nothing in the folder for you, ask the teacher.

Missed Quiz/Test: If you are absent on the day of a quiz/test, expect to take in the day you return to class.

District Grading Policy:

50% Major Assessments (Tests, Projects, Essays, etc.)

50% Minor Assessments (Classwork, homework, quizzes, mini-projects, participation, etc.)

There is a ZERO tolerance policy for any form of cheating. Should a student be caught cheating, it will result in a ZERO for that assignment with NO make-up. All parties involved will receive a Zero. Do not let someone copy your work!

Late Work Policy:

Any assignment handed in after its due date will be deducted 10 points for each day it is late. (Example: Grade of 98, 1 day late becomes 88, 2 days late becomes 78, and so on). All assignments MUST be handed in at the beginning of the block.
