Classroom Expectation


  1. You must arrive to class on time.

  2. Once you are in the classroom, you must remain in the classroom unless you are authorized to leave.

  3. You must be prepared for school daily. Anyone unprepared will receive an automatic zero for the day.

  4. Technology is an important part of education. You have received a Chrome book to complete any assignment requiring the use of technology. You must maintain the integrity of your chrome books, Chargers, and textbooks. Any loss or damaged Chrome books or textbooks will require full payment for replacement.

Parents/Guardians will be responsible for the repair co-pay when the device is damaged.

  • 1st incident in a school year: $20.00

  • 2nd incident in a school year: $50.00 for every incident after the first

  • The loss of a Chromebook, and/or charger, is the responsibility of the parent, as these are not covered in our insurance policy.

  • $50.00 for charger replacement

  • $255.00 for unit replacement

  • $305.00 for charger and chromebook replacement

  1. Homework assignments must be turned in the day that they are due. You will receive a “zero” if homework is not turned in on time.

  2. Writing assignments and ANY projects must be turned in the day that they are due. If you do not have your assignment or project on the assigned date, you must hand it in the next day and you will lose one grade. E.g. if you have an “A” paper, but you hand it in late then your grade will be reduced to a “B.”

  3. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to make-up the work. Please remember that you are allowed up to two days to make-up work after an absence.

  4. When you receive an assignment on Google Classroom, you press “Submit” or “Turn In” in order to receive full credit. It doesn’t matter if the assignment is minor or major. The only way I will know if you have completed an assignment is if you press “Submit” or “Turn In.”

  5. Group Work: Everyone must participate equally in the assignment. If you fail to participate equally, you will receive a zero for the assignment.

  6. Students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day for any reason. Students must report to an administrator for permission to use his or her phone.

  7. Absolutely, NO USE OF PROFANITY IN CLASS. It is offensive and unnecessary.

  8. NO CHEATING or Plagiarism!!! Anyone caught cheating on an assignment, or plagiarizing his/her work will receive an automatic zero, and parents/guardian will be notified.

  9. You are NOT allowed to talk during testing, use a cell phone, or any unauthorized electronic devices during testing. If you violate this agreement, you will receive an automatic zero. Also, your parent/ guardian will be notified.

  10. ABOVE ALL- Be respectful of your peers and teachers. Think before you make a comment or criticize anyone.
