Grading Policy:

Grading scale is in accordance with WTSD District scale.

• Attendance, punctuality, and attentiveness are basic requirements for an effective and successful learning environment. 

• Beyond this, each student’s participation will be assessed based on frequency and quality of contribution to our classroom.

• Assignments submitted late are subject to loss of points for each day late. 

  • Classwork not finished in class becomes homework due by start of next class

  • Late work will only be accepted up to 1 week from original due date and is subject to late points deducted (not including "excused" absences).

• Students absent on the day of an announced assessment will complete their assessment on the day of their return to school.

  • Makeup time for assignments follows WTSD Homework Policy in the WTSD Parent/Student Handbook:

    • • Students who are absent from school have the responsibility to make up all classwork/homework assigned during their absence. 

      • If an absence is "excused", students are permitted two days for each day absent to make up any missed work. 

• Any work assigned, but not submitted will be marked “Missing” in Genesis.

• Students missing any work will result in contact home and/or interim being issued.

• Plagiarism is absolutely not acceptable and any form of it will be subject to a zero grade with no makeup permitted.
