Meet the Counselor 

Hi everyone, My name is Brielle Small and I am a School Counselor at Lafayette Estates Elementary School. I previously worked at Woodbridge High School and I am so excited to be here at Lafayette Estates Elementary!

I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Masters Degree in School Counseling BOTH from Kean University! In addition, I hold an Endorsement in Teacher of Students with Disabilities. 

I have three dogs: Roux, Dakota, and Daisy! I have a passion for mindfulness activities, traveling, and smoothies! 

As the School Counselor, I will play a pivotal role in nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment for the students. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges that Elementary School students may face, I am here to offer a listening ear, guidance, and resources to both students and parents alike. I aim to empower our students to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
