The Woodbridge High School Student Council gives students a chance to have a say in school matters, bring awareness of different issues to administrators, and help foster a sense of community both within the school and with the Woodbridge community as a whole.
Woodbridge High School's Student Council was reinstated in the 2024-2025 school year. The goal was to improve the Barron's community by giving students a voice in how to improve our school community and a platform to bring issues and ideas to. Ms. Moldenhauer was appointed advisor and together with the Student Council members, has been working on improving our school community and giving students a voice in school matters. Mr. Noyan has also joined as an advisor starting in the 2025-2026 school year!
In the first year, Student Council held bake and snack sales as well as took orders for Bunny-grams, our springtime candy grams. We partnered with the Black Student Union and Equity team for our Black History Month and Women's History Month spirit weeks. We also hosted an Autism Acceptance spirit week in April and a Kickoff to Summer spirit week in June. In September 2025, we held our first annual Battle of the Classes spirit week. Stay tuned for more events throughout the year that will help grow and strengthen our Barron's community!
