My name is Mrs. Valerie Thode. I started my teaching career right here at Port Reading School #9. I did my student teaching here in a 2nd grade class and completed multiple long-term positions here afterwards. I went to go on teaching at Lafayette Estates for 4 years. I was a small group ASI teacher there and will continue to be in the same position here at School 9. I have 12 years of experience working with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes. This year I am working with 3rd and 4th grades for ELA intervention. I am very excited to be back and to work with the students here.
