Thank you for your interest in the Colonia High School Boys Soccer Program...

Our team development philosophy will be one where players are recognized for their technical, tactical, and physical ability. Therefore, the top players, regardless of grade or age, will be selected to the Varsity team. Subsequently, the next group of players will be selected to the Junior Varsity Team & depending on number of freshmen, we might have a freshmen team as well.   There are potential cuts which will need to be made at each level based off the player evaluation conducted by the coaching staff.

Individual goals can best be achieved through the team’s success. Therefore, players will be placed in positions that best fit the team. The most ambitious players will seize this opportunity and put in the physical and technical work needed to be an effective team member. Playing time will be given to those players that carry out the tactical expectations of those positions in our system of play.
