Students are encouraged to complete all work when assigned. Assignments will be accepted late under the school policy shown below:
All assignments should be turned in on time as assigned. If a student does not turn in the assignment by the due date, a zero (0) is posted in Genesis.
A student will receive a grade no lower than a 50 for a serious attempt at the assignment, even though the actual grade may be less than that. For grades below 50%, students will be encouraged to redo the assignment to improve the grade.
If an assignment is turned in one day late, the grade will be lowered 8 points.
If an assignment is turned in two days late, the grade will be lowered 12 points.
If an assignment is turned in three days late, the grade will be lowered 16 points; however, the lowest grade that will be posted in the grade book is a 50.
