My name is Ms. D and I am the school counselor at Oak Tree Road Elementary School. I attended Monmouth University and recieved both my BA in Psychology and my MSeD in Professional School Counseling. I believe every student should recieve the support in order to reach their highest potential and that is where I can help! I educate all students through assemblies and classroom lessons on the importance of our Character Education pillars such as, respect, tolerance, responsibility, etc. I value Social-Emotional Learning in order for students to become well-rounded future leaders. I also work individually and in small-groups with students to strengthen their competencies and help them get through whatever problem they may face academically, socially, or emotionally.
