Classroom Expectations

IN Person Expectations and Rules.

1. You must be in the room and in your seat before the bell rings. If you are not, it will be counted as a late and you will be written up.

2. All students must be prepared for class EVERY SINGLE DAY. This includes book, notebook and something to write with. Forgetting any of these would be considered unprepared for the day.

3. Cell Phones are not allowed at anytime. There will be a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY when it comes to cell phones. If we are in the middle of a discussion, going over work, test, quiz, etc., and your phone is out, it will be taken from you. If you refuse, you will be written up. NO QUESTIONS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Cell Phones will be collected during all Major/Minor Assessments.

4. In order to talk in class, you must raise your hand. Please do not talk over any other student.

5. Notes must be taken every single day. You WILL be graded on your notebooks for both notes and homework assignments. This includes labeling every note section with section number and date. As well as labeling every HW with section number, page, problem numbers and date.

6. Some homework assignments will be collected at my discretion, therefore you must keep up with all work.

7. Tests and quizzes will be announced, at least 2 days in advance to give you enough time to prepare.

8. It is YOUR JOB to get all make-up work in which you have missed if you are absent. Please, either ask me or another student for all assignments and notes. There is no excuse for make up work not being completed.

9. If you have a question please ask. I can only help you if you ask for help. I will go over any topic as much as need, but only if you ask.

10. You must follow all Woodbridge High School code of conduct and dress codes. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

11. If you need to borrow a calculator for the day, I will need collateral from you. If I don’t get calculator back, you will not get your collateral back.
