Intro. to Visual Art

During the course Intro. to Visual Art, you will study the following:

* Use of media, methods and techniques to create both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works of art

* The elements of art and principles of design

* Aesthetics, historical periods of art, critique and vocabulary as applied to in classroom assignments

Supplies: Sketchbook, Pencil, Eraser

Ceramics 1 & 2

During the courses Ceramics 1 and 2, you will study the following:

* Use of media, methods and techniques to create both functional and sculptural ceramic works

* The elements of art and principles of design in 3 dimensions

* Aesthetics, historical periods of art, critique and vocabulary as applied to in classroom assignments

Supplies: Sketchbook, Pencil, Eraser

Before and during class begins:

• Make sure your device is fully charged.

• Arrive a few minutes early to ensure you are prepared.

• Gather any necessary documents, texts, or files you may need for the day.

• Dress appropriately within school dress code.

• Be polite, appropriate, and respectful.
