Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Kwan and I am so excited to have your child in my class.
I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Education. My 5th grade teacher inspired me to become a teacher because he made learning fun and consistently gave me the positive reinforcement I needed whenever I did not succeed in something. This made me realize that I want to be this type of teacher in a child's life. I want to be the teacher that tells a student that they can do anything they put their mind to and how it is okay to fail at first. We learn from our mistakes!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, being with my friends and family, and crafting.
