Rutgers Health Service Corps Summer Program
High school students can get involved with Rutgers Health Service Corps through the Population Health Outreach and Education for Next generation Impact and eXcellence (PHOENIX) Program. PHOENIX introduces participants to the health professions, population health, community service, and the service corps mission. Students who complete the program may have the opportunity to engage in select service corps activities alongside college members during the academic year.

Program Location: Rutgers Cancer Institute New Brunswick, NJ
*** Applications for Summer 2026 are now closed. Those accepted will be notified via email by May 15.
Application Details:
Deadline to apply by March 31, 2026.
Due to limited capacity, we are only opening to 45 students.
There is no application fee, but there will be a non-refundable enrollment fee of $500 for those accepted (due by June 1, 2026).
