I started working in Woodbridge Township in 2002 as a Language Arts and Science teacher at Woodbridge Middle School. In 2006, I became an Elementary School Counselor and I worked at three different elementary schools. I became a counselor at Avenel Middle School in 2010. I have been the Director of School Counseling at Colonia High School since 2014, where I was actually a student myself and graduated with the Class of 1998!

I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and English from Kean University. I also went there for my Master's degree in School Counseling.  I am certified as an Elementary School Teacher, Teacher of English, School Counselor,  Director of School Counseling, and Supervisor.  I also hold a certificate as a Licensed Professional Counselor and work part-time in private practice.

My hobbies include going to concerts, the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I live in Oceanport with my husband and daughter.
