*Students will work individually and collaboratively with peers in class. DAILY PARTICIPATION in theatre activities is crucial to the student’s learning experience. Because of this, students will earn a participation grade for every class.
**Each day an assignment is turned in late, 5 points are deducted from the possible score.
Daily Participation:
5 = 100
Outstanding Participation in activities, leading the group and encouraging others to participate
Asking and answering questions, volunteering, helping others, on-task with a positive attitude all the time without being asked
Prepared with necessary materials for class
4 = 95
Full participation in warm ups and class activities
Answering questions, volunteering, helping and a positive attitude; on task most of the time
3 = 75
Participation in warm-ups and activities only when asked/forced to do things. Very little attempted and completed
Disruptive in class
Not prepared for class with necessary materials
2 = 70
Warm ups and class activities not attempted or accomplishment
Disruptive in class
Not prepared for class with necessary materials
0 = 65
Minimal participation in warmups and class activities
Disruptive in class
