There are no cell phones to be used in the classroom.
Gov. Murphy Signs Phone Ban for K-12 Schools – On January 11, Governor Phil Murphy signed bipartisan legislation which will require New Jersey school districts to implement policies restricting the use of cell phones and internet-connected devices for students during the school day, beginning with the 2026–2027 academic year. Assignments are expected to be completed and turned in when they are due.
Work not received will show as a 0, please check the comment for more information. When the assignment is turned in, the grade in Genesis will be updated accordingly.
Students are highly encouraged to attempt their best efforts in completing assignments. In the event that a clear lack of effort is shown, the student will receive the grade that reflects this. The school district provides guidance with several AI checkers. It is important for students to complete their own original work while they are learning.
Making up work due to absence will follow the district's policy of two days for each day of absence. IEP and 504 accommodations will always be met.
