OUR CODING CLASS ROOM POLICIES:
Ms. Krishnan
1. #1 rule is to respect each other. This classroom is a space for learning and
respect. Let's all work together to keep it free from disruptions.
2. Student IDs must be worn at all times. I will award PBIS points if you wear
it.
3. Cell phones are not allowed to be used in class or anywhere in school. (If
you need to call a parent or guardian, you may use the phone in the
Counseling Department).
4. No jackets, outerwear, or hoods are to be worn in the classroom.
5. Bathroom policy: One student at a time. No exceptions unless it is an
emergency. Please take a pass and complete all the information before
leaving the classroom. Bring your own bottles to my class. No water passes
are allowed in my class unless it is an emergency.
6. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to complete missing assignments.
You will have two days to make-up for each day that you are absent. You
are responsible for keeping up with the current assignments; as well as
completing any missing work.
7. There will be 5 points deducted for each day an assignment is late.
8. Cheating shall result in a mark of zero (0) for the assignment for all students
involved. This includes the student who completed and shared their work, as
well as the student copying the work.
9. Raise your hand if you have a question. Please make sure I heard it by
confirming with me.
10. Please ensure your computers are fully charged before attending class. A 4-
point deduction to your grades will be applied each time your computer is
not charged. This is your only homework for my class .
11. All the assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.
12. If I am absent, work will be posted in the Google Classroom.
13. First as soon as you enter the classroom, open your computer and start with
your Do Now which will be posted everyday in Google Classroom with the
date. It will be considered as one of your grades. Make sure you do it
everyday.
14. Use Technology Responsibly
● Only use computers and devices for class-related activities.
● No gaming, messaging, or unauthorized websites during instruction or work
time.
● Headphones may be used only with permission.
15. Ask Questions and Take Initiative
● Don’t be afraid to ask questions—everyone is here to learn.
● Explore, experiment, and try new things in your code.
16. Visit only at assigned times:
❶ Before Block 1
● 8:05am – 8:12am
❷ Before lunch
❸ After lunch
❹ After Block 6
● 3:05pm (dismissal)
If you CHOOSE to visit your locker OTHER than the recommended times, you
RISK arriving late to class, which WILL lead to a formal reprimand!
