Your overall marking period grade is calculated as follows:
Tests/Projects = 33%
Quizzes = 22%
Graded Homework/Classwork = 35%
Class Participation/Non Graded Homework = 10%
*The class participation grade is calculated based on the following criteria: Attitude, Conduct, Participation, and/or Preparation
*Each day an assignment is late it's minus 10%.
*The non-graded homework grade is as follows:
Each homework assignment is worth two points. It is graded for completion and effort. If all of the problems are completed, with work shown then full credit will be given (2 points). If problems are completed with no required work, all problems are not completed, and/or the assignment is completed late, half credit (1 point) will be given. If no work is received, a grade of zero will be given. These assignments all go into the non-graded homework assignment within the class participation/non-graded homework category. The points will be updated weekly, then the non-graded homework assignment will be refactored into a 100 point assignment at the end of the marking period.
*All homework is due on the dates specified. You have 2 days for each day you are absent to make up your assignments. No additional time will be given. You never know when the homework assignment will collected and graded or if it’s a non-graded homework assignment so please always do your homework.
