Tour our classroom

When in class and I catch you doing something kind, you have reached a personal goal, or correctly solved our morning challenge you receive a Regal Eagle.  These Regal Eagles can be exchanged for a trip to the prize box or an experience like reading to the class or lunch with the teacher.  If over 50 regals are collected then we can discuss having a classwide reward. 

Every week we have a new Star Student who normally has this bulletin board dedicated to them.  

This corner is filled with relaxing games and coloring books whenever you feel really anxious or need a quick 2-3 minute break to better focus during the day.  

Every week we have a "Friday Meeting" (during our virtual time together it will be on Tuesdays).  During this meeting we get to learn about each other and have fun. 

Here is one of my absolutely favorite areas in our classroom.  Whenever you find that a classmate has been really kind, generous, or thoughtful you write a note to them on a special paper and we post them on the board.  Right now we will share these notes on our website.  

This collage was given to me by a student Zaira in my first year of teaching.  It was so perfect that I promised her it would be in my classroom until I retire.  I had to share this with you on our website :)
