Welcome to our class! My name is Lauren Chrzanowski and my students typically call me "Ms. C". I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher, and am excited for a year full of learning, growing, and fun! In addition to myself, your child will be working closely with 3 wonderful and dedicated paraprofessionals: Ms. Kathy, Ms. Cherie, and Ms. Rebecca.
I would like to take this time to tell you a little bit about myself:
This will be my third year teaching in self-contained Autism in the Woodbridge Township School District! Prior to teaching here in Woodbridge, I worked as an Instructional Assistant in a self-contained Autism classroom in East Brunswick School District at the middle school level for five years. In addition to my self-contained experience, I also worked in a fourth grade general education and resource classroom while completing my student teaching.
I received my Master’s degree from The College of New Jersey in Elementary and Special Education, and received my Bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Psychology. I am very eager to apply all of my experiences and create the best possible learning opportunities for your child.
Our classroom utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and focuses on your child's individual goals, developing social skills and life skills, and increasing overall independence.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, working out, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
